Kuwait : A Nepali housemaid died after her Kuwaiti female employer hit her on the head with a bathroom tile in Umm Al-Haiman, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to sources, the Operation Room received a call late at night on Wednesday informing them that a maid was injured at her sponsor’s house in Umm Al-Haiman. Security officers and paramedics rushed to the house and discovered the maid had died due to the impact of the strike. The body was immediately taken to the Forensic Department.
Initial investigations revealed the maid came to work at the sponsor’s house less than a month ago. She died after her employer banged her head with a bathroom tile for not being able to understand what she was saying. A case has been registered against the Kuwaiti woman and she is currently in police custody for interrogation.
